I trained as an experimental filmmaker and completed a PhD in performance studies at NYU. I research, practice, write and teach across contemporary art theory, science and technology studies, historical epistemology, and media studies. These and other areas of inquiry are addressed through syntheses of experimental ethnography, media theory+practice and sociology of knowledge. My current work  brings these to bear on the tenuous symmetries of formal and materialist semiotics currently animating the geo, bio and exo as political, philosophical and aesthetical sites. Related to this work are collaborations with social activist initiatives as a media producer.​
